Mel and Janet's Excellent Adventure

This blog is a way for Janet and Mel to communicate with friends and family during their incredible journeys following retirement. Of course, some adventures are less than incredible. You might not find those here. Their most recent adventure took them to Okinawa, Japan to see their now 4-year old twin grandchildren, Milana Michelle and Tavis Michael. Feel free to add your comments, questions, or just news. Private communications can be sent to m-muchnik@sbcglobal.net.

Nous sommes arrives!

We made it to Rangiroa. I coughed a lot on the plane and assume that everyone thought they were traveling with Typhoid Mary but we made it. It is over 80 degrees here and I am dripping as we write this but we snorkled this morning right off the beach in front of our bungalow. Saw Tang, Triggerfish, trumpet fish, Parrotfish and Angelfish by the dozens. We biked over to a fancy-schmancy hotel for lunch and here we are, in an internet cafe, which is really someone's "front" room in a home near the beach.
