Mel is being heavily recruited by the Indonesian Army. They demanded (with good humor) to have Janet take this picture with Sean Connery aka Mel. I did not disuade them. Hopefully they won't come after me. They were in town for a political convention a couple of hotels away. Violence apparently is a possibility. The news keeps intersecting with our travels in interesting ways. Just heard about the earthquake close to sumatra. We are hundreds of miles away.
