Tasmania in the Sun

Well, after three days we finally found an internet cafe though not a way to send more pictures which most assuredly are coming. I am writing this from the local pancake house. Hey it is too too gorgeous here and the people just stop and talk with real interst in who and what you are and have all sorts of suggestions of what you should do. In fact, thanks to two locals, with whom we are about to have a drink (before we go tonight to see the Penquins come out of the sea at night), we've changed our routing completely.

Today is just glorious sunshine in Tasmania which advertises itself and the sunniest Australian state. Somehow that is not the notion I had thinking it was on the way towards antarctica. But it is incredibly beautiful. And WARM today.

Our day was in Freycinet National Park with granite cliffs, sea caves, white sand beaches and today the water was coral and shades of tourqoise. We puffed to the top of a mountain to a lookout which justly rewarded us with an extraordinary view including a white sand beach called something with wine. It could not have been more breathtaking. This was complemented later by walking up to a light house lookout on the very edge of the Tasman Sea stretching as far as the eye could see.
