Vibrant Democracy Includes Demonstrations
Not until the 1983 did Argentina overthrow the military dictatorship and it's "dirty war" that left more than 30,000 missing, when torture and murder and unspeakable acts were too common. Today's Argentina is a vibrant democracy and peaceful street demonstrations are common as they are in other democracies. The pink house beyond the sign Janet is looking at, " the Casa Rosetta" Is the Presidential Palace now. It's color is said a to be the mix of two political parties - the red and whatever produces pink.
