Welcome "home" to the Dordogne
We stopped on the way to St. Cyprien for lunch. Mine was a salad with gizzards and a big hunk of Foie Gras on French bread. Heavenly! It's hard to see our "gite", which I think means small apartment, from the narrow alley in front of it, but I am pointing to the front door. We took a tour of the town, climbing up to the church on the hill. The last photo is the houses across the alley from us. St. Cyprien is a quiet, non-touristy town. We have already visited the bakery on the next street. I think I will be sent back to the beginners class in weight watchers.
